To continue on with my week of Bite Beauty, today I have a neutral lipstick duo – Fig/Date.
This duo is available as part of Sephora’s Mix N’ Mingle Lip Minis, and it also comes in the 10 piece set. I bought this before I got the set, which is why I’m reviewing it separately.
For me, Fig is the standout shade of this duo. It’s a warm nude pink, a my-lips-but-better (at least for me since I tend to reach for pinker shades). It reminds me of NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien.
Date is more of a peachy brown nude. It’s not my favorite, but at least it makes this duo a little more versatile if you’re a nude lip wearer.
As always, the formula is outstanding. Date has a little bit of drag across the lips, but it’s nothing to really get upset about. The one thing I absolutely love about these duos are that they’re so easy to travel with.
Price: $12 for 0.1 ounces total ($120/oz). Compared to a full sized Bite Luminous Creme Lipstick, which is $24 for 0.15 ounces ($160/oz), these are a super great deal.
